The new CASIO EXILIM Hi-Zoom EX-H10 wins the EISA Award 2009/2010 in the "European Travel Compact Camera" category
The European trade press agrees: The new EXILIM camera is unbeatable
Norderstedt, 17 August 2009 - A real high-flyer. Already shortly after its successful market launch, the new EXILIM EX-H10 has been honoured with the prestigious EISA Award 2009/2010. It won over the international expert jury in the category of "European Travel Compact Camera".
The "European Imaging and Sound Association" (EISA), an association of 50 special interest magazines from 19 European countries, gives out the coveted awards once a year in various categories. The EX-H10 has now received the award for best compact camera for travelling - because the 12.1 megapixel EXILIM camera is simply unbeatable as a travelling companion. Several weeks on a Mediterranean cruise, a safari through Africa or a roadtrip across the USA is no problem for the EX-H10. Thanks to its extremely long-lasting Super Long Life Battery, up to 1,000 photos (CIPA-Standard) can be taken with only one battery charge. A 24 mm wide angle and a 10x optical zoom with mechanical image stabilizer ensure high-definition pictures and videos of the most beautiful places on Earth.
"This valuable EISA award is an excellent confirmation of our efforts, as the EX-H10 was specially developed for travelling. We are very proud of this award", states Sigbert Laakmann, Product Manager Digital Imaging of CASIO Europe GmbH. "With the EX-H10, we prove that premium picture quality and comprehensive features in an attractive design can be optimally combined in a compact digital camera made especially for leisure activities."
The EXILIM EX-H10 can be found in specialist shops for a recommended retail price of 329 Euros.
