Perfect model with flair: The new EXILIM Zoom EX-Z330 from CASIO
This new digital camera combines appealing design with technical extras
Norderstedt, January 07, 2010 - To kick off the New Year, the CASIO Europe GmbH is introducing a new digital camera with an innovative slim design in five trendy colours – the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z330. It captivates with its cool, modern appearance, gentle lines and elegant curves. Furnished with convincing technical features, the follow-up model to the extremely successful EXILIM Zoom EX-Z2 is becoming an indispensable companion for all occasions - whether you’re out partying all night long, shopping with friends or attending a family celebration at the weekend, the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z330 captures every moment perfectly.
When used on a daily basis, its technical features also really stand out: 12.1 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and the 6.9 cm (2.7”) TFT colour display covering most of the camera rear impress wherever they go. With HD video recording, the camera also provides film fun with its high-resolution quality rich in detail. The Dynamic Photo Function enables users to process images in unimagined ways, so they can amaze their family and friends. Even without a PC, users are able to composite moving images: movable motifs can be cut out from images and then be attached to another unmoved background image. In contrast, photographers who just want to simply press the release and not pay any attention to settings can rely on the Easy Mode to do all the work.
The core feature in the EX-Z330 is an innovative high-capability image processor, which can process photos extremely quickly and thus ensures better image quality. Using this image processor also reduces energy consumption even further. In addition to the face detection function, the intelligent autofocus also enables the camera to search a subject in the scenery and to calculate the focus and the lighting range accurately. This reduces the number of unfocused images of people or landscapes considerably.
It goes without saying that the EX-Z330 also comes equipped with the popular Make-Up Mode for portrait photographs. In this mode, the focus is centred on the subject’s face, the skin is smoothed and the presence of shadows on the face reduced considerably. This camera also boasts Landscape Mode for excellent landscape shots, even if there is a light mist or haze.
The EXILIM EX-Z330 is available in black, silver, blue, gold and purple from retailers from mid-January 2010 at an estimated retail sales price of 179 Euros.
